Sensory Play With Homemade Snow

Making Fluffy Snow using soap flakes is a fun and messy sensory play activity for the Summer.

HOW TO MAKE FLUFFY SNOW:

1 Cup Soap Flakes (You can find soap flakes at your local supermarket in the washing powder isle.)

3 Cups Warm Water

1 Large Mixing Bowl

1 Large Container or Tray

1 Electric Beater

As you beat the water and soap flakes the mixture multiples, so place the large bowl on top of a tray to catch the over flow.

The kids love to watch the transformation of the clear watery liquid mixture to a thick white blob.

Kids will enjoy finding fun ways to explore the fluffy snow mixture; squishing, feeling and playing with it.

Use a hose in your backyard to clean up the snow - it will dissolve and melt away - just like real snow!
